Matt, I stand corrected as to the jump-wing scene. Taylor was, at that point, serving with the 82nd Airborne in the Italian theatre.

The general who was interviewing the Major for service in the Pacific was not Maxwell Taylor...

Ok, ok, now I get it. I was also wondering when we got to see general Taylor in episode 10. I got that off of the credits on IMDb, where they list actor David Andrews as playing the role of a Gen. Taylor (episode 10)(uncredited). Looking at the credits from the actual movie, I see David Andrews as playing a General Elbridge C. Chapman (who was he?), not Gen. Taylor. So the IMDb info fooled me a little here... Sorry bunch.

i have a question. i have just watched epsode 1 of BoB and i was wondering if the thing at the fence where this maj. horton's voice was being impersonated was real or was some HBO creation. if it was real my god how badly capt sobel must have felt when he found out that he had been had.
