That's a great story! Don Malarkey looks great! Eileen you must have been bursting with pride. Richard Speight, what can you say about him and the way he continues to honor Skip and all WWII veterans.

It was my honor and privilege to attend this event in honor of Skip Muck. Easy Co. was represented by Eileen and her entire family, Rudy (Penkala) Tatay, George and Susan Luz, Lana Luz Miller and family, Don Malarkey and myself. Don's attorney Vance was also along as well as Joe Muccia and his family for the entire weekend. A highlight for me was driving around Tonawanda with Eileen and Don to see where Skip grew up. Very touching. Richard and his dad, Richard, Sr. were very gracious and lots of fun. I left in tears, just feeling so much love and respect for everyone gathered. The monument is beautiful and the next day we visited it again and saw many people stopping to read the inscriptions.

What a great recap. It is so good of the people of Tonawanda to honor Skip and all the other boys, excuse me men. Thank you for sharing Susan. I hope it helps Don to know that he is not alone in his grief for Skip. He and all of the men who did not come home are in the hearts of their loved ones as well as the citizens of towns, like Tonawanda where they grew up.
