I'm a moderator of a livejournal Easy company community. One of the community members brought up a few questions he was interested in and, since google wasn't very helpful, I thought I'd try my luck here. Any help in these topics would be highly appreciated:

Regarding the jumpwing ceremony at Fort Bennings when the boys finished all 5 jumps

1. What kind of ceremony it was?

2. Who did the actual pinning?

Regarding other topics:

3. What's the proper channels and procedures to go through if a soldier needed a replacement set of jump wings?

4. For their furloughs, back in Toccoa, usually how long did soldiers get?

5. Were soldiers given issued train tickets when on furloughs or were they have to find their own transportation?
