Hi, I was wandering if anyone knows if Wild Bill or any other E company vets ever come to England.
It would be great if I could get him to talk at my school

You just missed four E company vets last weekend at Wendover for an art gallery signing (Ed Shames, Ed Tipper, Bill Wingett and Herb "Jr." Suerth) and also back in July at Upottery, Aldbourne and the War and Peace show (Earl Mcclung and Don Marlarkey). Hopefully they might visit again.

He has been atleast twice may be more. I ve met him twice once in Aldbourne and had the leasure of showing him and Babe Heffron around Littlecote House. They use to come over with a company called Destination Europe who organise BOB tours. They might come again may with they Stephen Ambrose Tours. If they do then keep an eye out on their web site for the next tour which should be May 2009. I will if i remember post the next date on this web site as and when they contact me and let me know who's on it. If you get the chance to meet him and Babe you won't be dissapointed.

The tours Bill Guarnere and Babe Heffron have travelled on in recent years are organised by Ray and Cristy at Historic Tours, they were in 2004, 2005 and 2007 , the last one was just Babe. Im not sure who Destination Europe are, possibly they supplied the bus that visited Littlecote? But certainly the tours are organised by Historic Tours Historic Tours

I spoke to Ray a week or so ago and he and Cristy are in semi-retirement now, so I don't think they have any plans to run another Band of Brothers Tour. However there is still the possibility that Wild Bill might travel with Stephen Ambrose Tours or G2 Associates in the future.

G2 doesn't have any plans for a tour i the near future I believe. I spoke to Steph some time ago and because of the economical crisis, they didn't have many people on their tours so...
